Chris Lantinen is the PennWest Edinboro Beehive Director. His specialities include social media, podcasting, SEO, content marketing, and more. He's also an instructor within the PennWest University College of Science, Technology and Business. He was a "40 Under 40" selection in 2020 by the Erie Reader. He's a member of the LEAD team for the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership.
Cassandra Reese is an assistant professor of graphic & interactive design in the Art Department at Edinboro and has taught as an instructor of graphic design at Kent State University. Reese previously worked as a web designer at BENSUR Creative Marketing Group in Erie.
Scott Gladd is a freelance graphic designer with over a decade of experience in brand development. He also serves as the creative director for Erie Apparel, overseeing the design of online and in-store merchandise.
In 2022, the PennWest Edinboro Beehive brought home two Niagara Awards for marketing projects. They won a "Gold" for their work with Foxburg Golf Preservation and The 1887 Project. They won a "Silver" for their work with Tandoori Hut Indian Cuisine.
Jim Wertz is currently a faculty member and journalism program coordinator in the Department of Communication, Journalism and Media, where he teaches courses in digital media production and advises ETV, the university's television operation. He previously served as associate dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and remains active in the Erie community as chairman of the Erie County Democratic Party and on a number of community boards and advisory committees. He assists the center by providing consulting services in multiple areas, especially video production
Ron Raymond has more than 30 years of professional experience in the radio industry, working on air and as a manager for stations in Florida and Pennsylvania. He serves as faculty advisor to WFSE-FM, Edinboro University’s campus radio station, and as business manager for all three of the university’s campus media organizations. He assists the center by consulting in audio production and providing professional voiceovers for much of our work.
Bill Berger is director of marketing and brand identity at Edinboro University. He possesses more than 30 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, branding, advertising and communication, including more than 20 years at BENSUR Creative Marketing Group in Erie.
Joelyn Bush is the Key Account Marketing Manager at Snap-tite Hose. She previously held professional positions at the United Way of Erie County, the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership and the Erie Community Foundation. Bush also serves as a frequent presenter at The Nonprofit Partnership.
Matthew Cummings is a strategic communications consultant at Erie Insurance and teaches in the Integrated Marketing Communication Program at West Virginia University, where he previously served as assistant director of online programs. Cumming's career includes more than 20 years of marketing, advertising, communications and public relations experience.
